Weight Loss Update


I’m doing this for me, LOL

I actually lost EXACTLY 5lbs for July. Just what I wanted to lose for myself. The first two weeks I ROCKED and lost 4lbs. The third week I was having a meltdown and thought I deserved coke, cookies, and sweets all week. hahaha – And the last week, I did a little better but didn’t care. I was actually surprised to see the scale yesterday and this morning reflecting my *exact* 5lbs loss.

I think the long and short of it is that my body simply ADORES breastfeeding. I did this with Sam too. No matter what I did, I just slowly lost the weight.

It’s pretty cool! Until I stop nursing, that is, and gain it all back! So I need to do better. Plus when G turns 6 months, I still really want to join the gym (for the day care!) and go in the mornings. I keep telling myself this, hopefully I will be a good girl!

I want to lose 6 lbs for August! I have 12 more pounds to lose to get back to pre-baby weight and then I can work on the rest! So hopefully in two months I will have lost the 12 pounds. Go me. :)

  1. I literally just joined stroller strides before reading this. I’ll go to the YL one if you want to go! I bet it’s hard with two kids though. Let me know! It would be fun!
