I’m all Good :)

Just got back from a little shopping trip with Krysta, Char, Elle, and Sam! We went to the Shops at Mission Viejo. I think I was so relaxed, figuring it was just another outing even though I had two specific things that I wanted to get done. We had about 2 hours and we actually GOT those two things done, PLUS two other stores we hit… and then lunch, of course. And after all that, Sam and I went for a trip up and down the escalater (while I kept an eye on my stroller!) and Krysta headed to the Mom’s room to nurse and then continued her shopping trip! Yea for the Momma’s who actually get out of the house! Hee!

Sadly, Sam has somehow stopped sleeping in the car the past few times so my days of leaving at 1:15 from somewhere expecting a sleeping baby (kiddo, not baby, jeez) are OVER with. Ugh. Sucky.

Anyway. This post just cracked me up right now. DaMomma always has funny blogs.

This paragraph made me crack up…
“I think most of us worry about the workload increase when having a second child. But I don’t think most of us really think the birth itself will be anywhere near as life-altering as the first one was. After all, we know about Delivery, we’re over the New Parent gizmo-obsession, we don’t pack the hospital bag until a week before the due-date, and we don’t even kid ourselves about putting pre-pregnancy clothes in it. We’re good to go. “

That is so me right now. The rest of her advice has me thinking a bit though! The past few weeks I was really looking forward to Sammie coming to the hospital to meet her brother. I think we will still definitely do that but her comment kinda makes me wonder. I think she will be ok though.

Funny.

I just read the article eairler too.lol.

We took Avalon to the hospital to meet Nolan. She stayed for about two hours and then left. She was so excited. And then after 15 minutes she was bored and wanted to leave. So we let her sit on the bed and hold Nolan and then she was happy. I don’t think it even dawned on her that Nolan got to stay and she had to leae. She was excited because she was getting to have a sleep over at Grandma’s house that night.

My sister had her step daughter come to the hosptial too. And they had the nurse bring in a little baby doll in the bassinet thing for her daughter. So then she did not feel left out. She felt like my sister got a baby and she got a baby.

I think all kids are diffent though. But I would have felt way more guilty not including Avalon.

Hi! I had the girls come to the hospital (twice) actually and they loved it! They had missed me and they were fascinated by Braden. We never expeirenced anything negative with that expierence. I think you should have Sam come and see her new baby brother!

I think it’s a good article, but I am totally having grandma bring Aidan to the hospital to meet Scarlet. I want to include him in all I can for a lot of the other reasons that DaMomma stated in the article.

Thought I’d add to the choir of opinions too 😉

Glad you had fun shopping!! 🙂

Do you have a name picked out? I don’t expect you to share, but if you’re being public about it anyway, do tell!
