This was such an unexpected surprise! They went down to San Diego to watch two Padres games, and then came up to my house to spend (two!) nights and I went with them to the Dodgers game.
I had people spend the night at my house. It was so… unbelievable.
Game was so nice to hang out with them. Plus the 35 minutes it took to get OUT of Dodger stadium parking, ha ha. And the 55m home.
We got to sing “Take me out to the ballgame” and I really wish I would have thrown my arms around them both to sway and sing. But we sang. And that was good enough. Next time.
Time well spent.
