A few months ago I started to dive into my obsessive scanning of old videos, photos, and notes from the last 17 years.
I can believe my youngest is a senior but it just makes me cry to listen to all his sweet voice on some of these old videos.
While I am wildly impressed at the young man is he right now, I have so much nostalgia for that sweet little voice.
“What do you want to do when you grow up?”
“I want to stay with you!”
Okay, when I pressed him of what he wanted to be when he was 33, he did say he wanted to get a phone and then wash windows like Sam. Why Sam always used to say she wanted to wash windows and get people’s coffee is beyond me. I can’t wait to make a video montage of that later once she figures it out. Even if it’s in 20 years.
Anyway.
I loved the song I found. It just felt like it fit so well. Van Morrison.
When all the parts of the puzzle
Start to look like they fit
Then I must remember
There’ll be days like this
12 years later…
“What do you want to be when you are 33?”
“Satisfied.”
*cries*
Who is this child? Why is he so wise already?
I love him so much.
