We had our “Into the Woods” era this summer with Huston Performing Arts and then the high school performance after that.
The kids are doing a competition in February and since they all know the songs, they are doing it a THIRD time!
The music had constantly been in my head. Over and over again. I’m lucky it’s so good!
G got cast as Jack both times – and is performing Jack again for February – and has been amazing every time.
I think I recorded him three times but here is my favorite:
I can NOT get this dang song out of my HEAD. The whole ensemble was fantastic and I love how they choreographed it too.
It’s so dramatic.
The week after it closed, G went to South Coast Plaza to perform with some of the MTCA cast for their competition in February. (Sam had to work so did not perform!)
It was last minute but they had fun throwing it together. These kids are so talented!
