Book Review: Glitter Baby by Susan Elizabeth Phillips

by Kristi on January 15, 2009

Susan Elizabeth Phillips is one of my favorite authors. Her books reside in my ‘special’ bookcase, the one up in our room with pretty glass windows which hubby has stolen (STOLEN) a full shelf of to use for his own books. You would think he lives here too, or something.  Some day soon, I want to write down which authors are in my favorite shelves but SEP is there because she makes me laugh and (almost) cry. If I were a crier (cry’er? cryer? Don’t wanna spend to long figuring out how to spell that word, so I won’t!), I would cry.

Glitter Baby is her second book written and was out of print so it was reissued by Avon this month. I rushed out to get it. What makes this even more exciting is that another SEP novel is coming out in about two weeks so I get TWO books by her in TWO MONTHS! OMG! 🙂

It was awesome. It was long but worth it. The story goes over Fleur Savagar’s whole life, starting with her mother, and her relationship with Jake Koranda but it was a wonderful story.  Highly recommend Susan Elizabeth Phillips!!
