Sickie G Baby

by Kristi on December 16, 2008

I went and picked up G this morning (330) and he was sooo hot. Usually his hands are little icicles.  I nursed him and he went back to sleep but in the morning he was still warm.  100.5, poor guy. He was coughing and congested too.  He stayed pretty blah the whole day. He got some sleep in but not much.  In the afternoon/evening he would not be put down AT all. I had to hold him the whole last hour of the night and by 630, I was holding him and he was just laying in my arms. Very “not” G. I ended up putting him to bed an hour early.  He ended the day at 101.5 and I gave him some Tylenol.  We shall see how he does.

The funny part of today though. My brother drove down from La Canada to say hi. He finished his first semester of college (!!) and had a few days off.  We were sitting down at the table and I was starting to feed G, I poured some cheerios on his plate while I was chatting with Scott.

“You know, this child will put ANYTHING in his mouth but he REFUSES…”

G picked up a cheerio and popped it in his mouth. I SWEAR!

That child. He just looked at me.

Of course, then he opened his mouth as he wanted me to put one in. Sheesh.  Apparently J saw him doing that this afternoon too.  That was the first time I’ve seen it.  Silly boy!
