While we had an AWESOME day, I am so exhausted 🙂 From eating two turkey dinners, opening up some thoughtful beautiful presents, and watching the kids be so happy from hanging out with family.
I had thoughts on organizing tonight but after taking a 20 min nap, checking out my computer, and now I am going to BED! 🙂
Best part of the day? Santa brought G a pop up tent/ball pit and Sammie a little kitchen (along with a Leapster2 – which she loves) but when we came down this morning, hubby was carrying her and she had eyes only for the big ball pit. The kitchen was along the wall under the stairs and she was standing right in front of it but facing the ball pit.
“WOW!! YOOK!”
“Yea, I think that may be for Baby G, Sammie. His stocking is next to it, see?”
“Wow. But where is MY stocking??”
Her slight look of panic.
“I don’t know, Sammie! Do you think Santa brought you anything??”
Oh yes, we are evil.
“Yes! Where is my stocking?”
It was starting to be a little sad. LOL – You could tell the panic and anguish was there.
“Why don’t you look around a bit more?”
And she turned around, looked at the kitchen (and pile of presents next to it, etc) started to look around the other way, and WHIPPED her face back to the kitchen.
“WOW!!! YOOK!!”

Our house is a mess. Hooray for Christmas!
What was your favorite gift?? J got me a fun Flip Video camera, it’s so tiny and cute! It’s awesome! I’ve actually been hearing all about it from other people too. I got a lot of awesome things though too, everyone was so thoughtful and generous. Some of the best books that were on my list and I can’t wait to read at Big Bear… and a waffle maker, yum!

My kids favorite game they got this year was wii. I honestly thought they would both be too small for it. But they are actually really good at it. Avalon loves all star cheerleader and Nolan loves mario cart raceing.
