Emergency Call…

To the pediatrician, that is!

I should really call them more often. They are super helpful. I don’t know why I don’t call them. Anyway, the short blog post is that we are going to be modifying her eating habits during the day. Three good meals, two short snacks, enforcing good table habits. Possibly shortening her naps, or at least making sure we wake her by 4pm. Definitely doing CIO (cry it out) at night and just not going into her room.

I’m considering renting J a hotel for the next week though. 🙂 I can be strong myself with a pillow over my head but I can’t when he starts to question or second guess. We both know that we just have to let her cry it out.

SO tired today. Took a short nap and need to go jump in bed. Hopefully she got enough to eat, we were at my Mom’s house for dinner and of course, she was to busy playing. I stuffed cheese, then a muffin, and then a piece of salami before bed though. I guess CIO starts tonight and the better eating habits start tomorrow.

Here is her sleep journal from the past 14 days…

14th – 240-310 cry, rock, 345 cry, rock until 445, milk, more cry, rock, just get up. Boo
13th – 240, 15 min, 3am, 5 min, yogurt & story (no muffin before bed)
12th – 215, cry for 10 min back out, 245, 5min, 3am, 5min (no muffin before bed)
11th – Good
10th – Good
9th – Good
8th – Good
7th – Good
6th – Good
5th – 430, yogurt
4th – 330, yogurt
3rd – 12am, rock, 1220am, food, 2am finally down
2nd – Sick, 4am, yogurt, rock to sleep
1st – 1am, short cry, 540, cry, 615, cry, 8am wakeup
