Healthy Baby!

Whew! Even though my regular doctor was out, apparently on maternity leave (!!??!! – I didn’t know she was even pregnant, silly me!) the stand in nurse practitioner filled me in on my ultrasound details! They faxed the details over already! Sooo happy!

Very healthy baby, very active! Heart rate 150. Measuring 18 weeks and 2 days, I was 19 & 1 day but I have a longer ‘normal’ period (meaning later conception date/ovulation date) so that is pretty much on schedule. The ultrasound said my due date would be April 1st (!!! Yea!) but the nurse said that they don’t change the due date because those types of fluctuations are normal and expected. So I’m sure I will have another ‘late’ baby. hehe

So that made me feel better. And I TOTALLY would have gotten an ultrasound today if the Dr was there. She is going to be there next time though (apparently a ridiculously quick maternity leave) and they said they could peek then.

If I go back. With a promised ultrasound, I probably will. 🙂 Hey, I can have two insurances for an overlapping month, right? I need to fill out my new insurance form, yikes!

Yippe! Healthy baby. Heart rate was 158 this morning. I checked back on my PG Journal with Sam and hers was always around 144/140 – I saw always when I only seemed to have written it down twice – haha – So 150 or 158!! Higher ‘means’ girl in old wives tales. We are having another girly girl, I just know it! haha!

Gotta run!

Whoo Hoo for healthy babies!!!! That is really the most important thing, but now the exciting part comes, I hope you have a girl because sisters are the best and Sam will always have someone there for her!
