osCommerce – Tech Tip

by Kristi on August 7, 2007

Sorry for doing this but I have to! As Angie said, if I don’t blog about it… I won’t remember! (Ang, I need Photoshop help again! LOL)

Downloading osCommerce in BlueHost throws up some sort of global registry error that talks about modifying your php.ini or .htaccess file. If you copy the php.ini file to your local directly and then copy it back to your osCommerce main folder *and* admin folder. You are good to go.

Sadly I have no idea what it means but it is some default setting and the folder which holds your store simply needs to have a copy.

Cheers.
