My Final Thoughts

by Kristi on May 28, 2007

I wanted to give some final thoughts….
on some of the shows season finales, of course! 🙂

Desperate Housewives – I thought it was pretty good. It wasn’t keep my attention to much this season though. I seriously can’t believe they ended it with Edie hanging herself. That was really lame, imo. The wedding in the woods was to cute but I thought it was sad Mike didn’t have a best man with him. I guess he has no friends 🙂 He also didn’t seem that happy or excited, I don’t know… the acting was off, it seemed. I like how Brie swanned in at the end though with a big fat preggo belly. To funny.

Grey’s Anatomy – Well, I already posted about this. Sad, sad, sad. The rumors continue to fly about TR Knight and Washington not having renewed contracts yet. They start filming in August but Knight has said he doesn’t know if/when he is supposed to report back as they don’t have a new contract and rumors are flying all over the web about Washington. Cute blondie girl (Izzy in the show) was interviewed on KISS last week and said she thought it was cool they took the scandal du jour and pushed it into the season finale to make everyone wonder if they were coming back. Honestly, Washington sounds like a total jerk but I do like his part on GA so I hope he will be back! If he leaves, I don’t think we will miss him to much. As for Knight (George) with the way things were left… he BETTER not LEAVE!!

Brothers & Sisters – I’m about to watch that in a few minutes. I like the show. It’s not a huge favorite but it’s pretty cool. I was never a Calista Flockhart fan but I really like her and see her appeal. She’s pretty funny.

Lost – Argh! I guess Lost is doing it’s job. It’s making us talk about the damn show while we were eating lunch today. We watched the season finale last night. I swear to god there was a commercial EVERY five minutes. Seriously annoying, even if we ff through. The flash forward was awesome though. Did anyone think Kate looked SO gorgeous? She looked really nice. So… it was annoying to me but Justin loved it. He thought the flash forward was so perfect and the writers redeemed themselves. I guess they did. I’m still annoyed at the 60 other things that they could have at least explained a BIT. There are three seasons left and this next one won’t start until February 2008. So we have almost a year to wait. Oh well. If we go down to the ComicCon this year (we didn’t go last year) apparently they have a huge Q&A with all the stars and writers and many things are revealed. We saw them a few years ago (when the show was new) and we were wondering ‘what that party of five guy was doing there’. Funny. I just freaked out though cause it’s usually in July and our July is PACKED!

How is July packed? Well, Transformers comes out on the July 4th weekend… Justin can’t wait for that one. I want to see it too.

Harry Potter (the movie) comes out the NEXT weekend. (I am SO EXCITED we just saw the preview this afternoon and it looks like it totally rocks. I can’t wait!)

Harry Potter (the book) comes out the weekend after THAT! Can’t miss the opening weekend for the book! I want to go to the midnight party and then I want to READ IT!!!

But ComicCon is scheduled for the weekend after that one… So whew. Not sure if we are going yet though. You know, they must have planned that whole thing. Harry Potter is huge at ComicCon (ok, anything geeky is huge at ComicCon) and that just seems like perfect planning… Usually it’s around the 17-19th but it’s the last weekend this year. Commercialism!

July is so close! It’s almost June. Which means July is next. Yes, I rock at math. Or, you know, whatever. I just rock.

Speaking of Harry Potter, in a few weeks I have to read all the books over again. 🙂

That’s all for me right now. What a week. 🙂 Ok, I lied. I have to blog about John’s freaking awesome 60th birthday party (um, 7 martinis – yikes), the hellish week we just had (yea, you don’t really want to hear about it), Jumpin Jammin (very cool), and Sam being hilarious (always… always!)

I’m going to go veg out instead of being completely unproductive on this silly box.
