Hoppy Easter!

by Kristi on April 8, 2007

My favorite holiday to wish people a ‘hoppy’ time! 🙂 Hop hop hop… comes the Easter bunny! I’m a nerd, I know. It’s also my FAVORITE image joke.

It took me SO LONG to get this joke years ago when my Mom first sent it to me. When I did though, I just thought it was the funniest thing ever. There are other versions of it, one with “My ass hurts! What?” where the one chocolate bunny has it’s butt eaten into. I like this version better.

Today we are going to lunch at my Mom’s and then going to Sharon’s for dinner. Both places will have an Easter egg hunt, I imagine. This year the Easter bunny did not come for Sam at our house. Oopps. I thought about it… but I just didn’t ‘make’ her an Easter basket with ‘gifts’ in it. We made the Easter basket (I posted about it before) but just nothing in it from the bunny. 🙂 Oh well. I doubt she will remember!

Yesterday was nice as well. We went to a luncheon honoring/thanking Truck for his participation as Chairman of his group. He got to thank all his committe and family members and wife. It was so wonderful hearing his speech about Sharon, his soul mate. SOOO sweet! They were also put up in the Presidential Suite at the Costa Mesa Hilton (where their convention was held) and it was really nice! Wow!

Later, Justin went to work and Sam and I went to Daphne’s for dinner. I love Daphne’s, yum. Plus, Sam LOVES the water fountain in the courtyard of the festival. She runs between the one up the stairs and the one down in the courtyard. We saw another little cutie there (19 months) and they were both climbing the stairs together and pointing at the water. Then we cruised over to PetSmart and checked out the birds, rats, and fish. It’s like the zoo, I swear. 🙂 She loves it. We saw a woman holding her hot-dog (what are those kinds of dogs called?) but Sam didn’t even recognize it because she was holding it! haha – When she put the dog down then Sam went crazy, it was funny.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter!
