Dear Samantha,
All day yesterday I was thinking about your big day. A whole year old, you are now! My little baby… I should update my thoughts of you to include the word toddler in them.
It seems so trite but I kept thinking about last year…. Last year at this time where I went into work in the morning, was helping (eating?) make Christmas cookies with Krysta and her family in the early afternoon, and a doctors appointment in the late afternoon. A few hours later my labour started! 18 hours of labour which simply flew by and then we had you in our arms.
I love you baby! Happy 1st birthda to you.
