4th of July

by Kristi on July 17, 2006

The 4th was an awesome day. I think I briefly chatted about it but I wanted to upload some photos as well. It was such a beautiful day.

The picture of Sam was such a good one. Her eyes are so blue and I don’t think they are changing! I know the Dr said that it can be up to a year before they change but I definitely don’t think they are going to brown. If they do change, they may just change to hazel or a different blue. I love the color they are at right now though.

Sam had such a great time though. We hardly ever go out ‘past her bedtime’ because I’m such a stickler for her schedule. She loved snuggling up to both Poppa & Mommy while taking in the scenery. Here we are laying down on a blanket waiting for the fireworks to start.

Big Bear’s fireworks are AMAZING, by the way! I highly recommend them. That was the first time I saw a ‘smiley face’ in fireworks and it was pretty darn awesome. The ‘sparklers’ (the ones that sizzled and sparkled on the way down) were my favorite.

Sam wasn’t scared of the loud noises either, I think she was to tired. She just stared in silence as we covered her ears and then fell asleep on my chest in the Baby Bjourn.
