Moving to Disneyland

Sam did not take her nap today.  Actually, neither did G.  They both thought that snoozing (briefly) in the car on the way home from Krysta’s was their nap.  They were wrong, but whatever. Early bedtime for them!

Sam did have quiet time in her room and after an hour when she started calling my name I just gave up and cruised in there with G.  We like to play on her bed, read stories, have pillow fights, and other things.  Likewise, when G gets up from his morning nap, we hang out in his room as well.  She was jumping up and running around her room grabbing things when she grabbed her pink bear backpack with the luggage draggy handle thingamajig.  (I’m sure the name of what those things are will come to me at a later date.)

“I’m going on a trip.”
“Where you going?”
“I’m going on a trip to dark Disneyland to see all the lights, Mama.” – Wednesday night was the first night she has been to Disneyland in the dark, she thought it was a novel experience.
“Ok, how are you going to get there?”
“I’m just going to go to dark Disneyland on a trip.”
“What are you going to eat?”
“Grilled cheese and lemonade.”
“Well, how are you going to pay for it?”
“With my card.”

We obviously need some financial teachings here.

“But you need to have money to use the card. How are you going to get money? Are you going to work like Papa?  Papa works so we can have money to buy things.” –> My lame attempt after realizing that handing her my credit card to pay for things (she likes to hand it to people) is giving her terrible terrible ideas. Ok, I’ve know this but this is the first time we’ve chatted about it in conversation!

“No, I have money.”
“Where did you get the money? Did you go to work?”
“No, J.J. BrahBrah and Grandma Nana gave me money.”

Hmmm. I think I just looked at her after that one. LOL

“I have my coins that J.J. BrahBrah and Grandma Nana gave me.”
“Your coins?”
“Yes, my coins. My coin money from Chuck E Cheese.”

Oh lordy. Gold Chuck E. Cheese money.  Perfect.

“Ok baby, you have a great time!” LOL

Oh, my goodness! That is hilarious! I am so glad you are recording all this. One day Sammie will have a good laugh at her three-year-old cuteness. Disneyland is the happiest place on earth Kristi, don’t you want to move there too? =)
