Father’s Day

I’m trying to remember what happened on Father’s Day. It was two short days ago… my poor mind can’t handle all this lovely information. 🙂

We actually had a nice pre-Father’s Day on Saturday. We had a nice walk on Saturday morning and then she took a nap. After she got up, Sam and I went over to Sharon’s for a purse party. It was such a cute purse party! Similar to the CookieLee jewelry parties, and the like, she had cute Coach purses, wallets, sunglasses, and fun headbands! I couldn’t resist one of the headbands as they are made from really thin plastic with silk tied around it, then it trails down your back. It doesn’t give me a headache!! You can’t even feel it. I wore it for a few hours and it was great. I got a few of them. Here is Sam trying one on as well.

When we got back, we went off to Disneyland! It’s nice, we have that free parking upgrade on our passes so we zipped in. We went on Autotopia first and while she cried at first, when we stopped the cars she immediately started signing MORE MORE MORE. And when we were walking about, she really wanted to go back. She told us so many many many times.

But we headed over to the horsies next and while she wasn’t sure about it at first (again), she really loved it after it was over.

Then she really really really wanted to go back. (Do you notice a trend here?) When we left the park for dinner though we had a huge personality change. Suddenly we had this sweet laughing funny baby who was chattering to us. So I guess she did have fun. 🙂

Sunday we dropped Sammie off with Grandma Sharon and went to see Knocked Up. It was cute. I wanted to see Ocean’s 13 but it’s my choice next time. 🙂 Then we went to dinner at Mom’s house and had yummy steak and scallops!

Monday we went down to the Spectrum to have a chat with a friend/associate who was down here doing a Search’n Spa conference and very nicely met with us for an hour or so. It was great chatting and then we went on the Ferris wheel! I highly recommend the Ferris wheel, it’s tons of fun. Sam loved that too. 🙂
