2007 is Tiring!

What a week!

Sadly, that was written LAST week. So there has been two tiring weeks in a row! 2007 is indeed tiring.

Two weeks ago was a rollercoaster. We had a perfect day on Tuesday. Sam was in such a great mood, hugging me, giggling, being a sweetie-pie. We went out to see Krysta and go to the mall to exchange some things and she was absolutely perfect. Wednesday was a different story. Very contrary, didn’t want me to pick her up, didn’t want to do anything. That day also resulted in me picking her up and her throwing her arms up and twisting out of my arms to go *splat* on the living room tile.

Yes… SPLAT.

From my shoulder level or so. I couldn’t catch her. Luckily there was not a mark on her. She must have hit her hands… or something. I calmed her down with the boob. What do other parents do? We tried the cat, outside, the dogs… (after reassuring ourselves that she was not hurt anywhere) but the boob works best! Guess it’s a good thing that I haven’t weaned when that type of thing happens.

Ahh, when to wean. Still not sure. We are doing one bottle a day currently. We put the poop meds in there and it works best in the afternoon. She licks the whole thing down and is happy.

This past week has been tiring as well because of being sick. Since I was sick I was in the ‘Sammie needs to be quiet’ mode and when she got up from her naps, we slipped into the 2nd nap during nursing… So after both naps she would take another nap. Which made her only take the minimum 40 minutes in her crib and then fall asleep on Momma for a full hour after. Since that was the story of our lives for the past year… and I had just escaped from that, we practiced today on NOT doing that. It worked. Which was nice. Hopefully tomorrow she will be more tired for her naps and take some real ones. Or, she can sleep in til 9 tomorrow which would be nice too. 🙂 I do prefer the long naps during the day so I can do me stuff though.

This weekend we have some nice things planned. Next week I need to get back to working out. Then on Saturday of next week we are going to Oregon to visit the fam! Fun fun fun. Justin will be going to Virginia. Mom & John are still in South America (jealous!!). So much traveling this month.

I will end this update with more photos of SAM! Some from Rilyn’s birthday party which I had no energy to post once I got sick. Then some other cute ones of Sam. I think I need to take a photography class though, I’m a really horrible picture taker. I do like taking pictures though. 🙂
