Yea! Sam finally learned how to roll both ways *at the same time* today!

She was sitting down on the floor and Talis & Callie (the cats) were both sitting around her so she was in HEAVEN! She kept squeaking with joy and when they moved a few feet over she fell back on the floor and then rolled over on her belly to try and reach one of the cats. After struggling for about 8 min she finally rolled over to her back again! We did a big cheer and she giggled and tried clapping her hands with us. I tried helping her and it just made her giggle more. About an hour later she did it three more times so I’m sure it won’t be long before she’s rolling herself from the living room to the kitchen. hehe

We are starting to have a giggler on our hands! It really takes us a LOT of work to get her to giggle. It’s coming along though. Today she really was going at it. What a happy girl.

Tomorrow we are off to Big Bear. We were supposed to go today. Haven’t been in awhile, I’m afraid the house is going to be filled with bees. Yikes. Yes, I’m serious. 🙂 They’ve been getting in somehow. Although, I think they were getting in the screens when the windows were open, but still. I have a fear they have taken over. We shall just have to see.

Yesterday I went to a wedding with Cindy, my step-mom. It was Joanne’s wedding to Carlos “insert very Italian name here with 8 or 9 syllables*. Hopefully she is keeping her last name. hahaha – Gosh, it was a gorgeous wedding though. It was at the Cal-Tech campus in Pasadena. Very ritzy. Joanne looked BEAUTIFUL. I didn’t get home until 12:00am though so was SO TIRED. Glad we aren’t leaving until tomorrow now. It was nice that Cindy got to meet Sam too. They had a lot of fun.

Hope everyone enjoys the 4th of July! We are debating whether to go in to town to see the fireworks (supposedly they are one of the top 5 shows in the state) or try and view them from our house. I’m not sure if we can…. We can probably take her and she might enjoy it but I don’t want it to be to loud and scare her. We shall see.

Have fun!
