I’m reading about the same themes from 2012. There has been a lot of nostalgia from the 2011-2012 indie days because this year has been so fraught with… nastiness. Luckily, I’ve been able to stay away from most of it.
From 2012, I wanted to ‘star’ my books a little better. Meaning, not give everything a five star 🙂 I find myself incapable of giving one star reviews just because I know so many wonderful authors and even if I HATED the book… I just couldn’t do it! So I compromised with the no-stars meaning in most cases, they were DNF (did not finish).
