#DriveSafe with OBD2 and Sprint

by Kristi on August 6, 2013

I had a delightful time at a beautiful dinner party last week hosted by Jessica Gottlieb and Sprint.

The event was put on by EventUp which is an amazing site to find the next venue for a party or corporate meeting you want to hold a party at. I have a fun time dreaming about fun parties that are available in my local area as I browse that site.

The food was by FreshDish, an on-demand personal chef, and it was so delicious, even I could eat it. That is saying a lot considering I am on the no-wheat, no-sugar, no-soy diet! They had these two delicious salads one made with brussels sprouts and it was all chopped up into deliciousness.

This crazy little USB looking device that Jessica was talking about is awesome. I actually need it because I’m so terrible and usually text at red lights. (I promise, I put it down while driving!) Anyway, it’s a device called OBD2 and it easily plugs into your car and can disable text messages while driving. It also collects data and sends it to you on how the car is being driven. Perfect for your teenager.

I’m so happy I don’t have to worry about that for another 10 years or so. Gosh, I just wrote 15 and then had a heart attack. Time flies.

Anyway, take a look at this super cool little video that talks about the device and where I was for dinner. You can also see me being a dork and taking a picture of Jessica as she was talking. I’m not even going to use that photo either because it had her mouth open as she was talking, and anyway, this video is completely super awesome and takes the place of any photo I could have taken.

Ask your insurance agent about how to get OBD2 and hopefully a nice fat discount on top of that. 🙂
