Pictures? With Babies? No Way!

I was thinking a tad to ambitiously, perhaps.  I wanted to get some cute professional pictures of my babies, as well as the Marvin girls.  The girls all had super cute matching Valentine’s Day outfits and G with a shirt that said “Ladies Man”.  Can’t you just imagine it?

I could. Unfortunately, the image I was picturing was stuck in my head and refused to materialize.  I was thinking something like, Griffin sitting with all the girls around him. Or all four of them sitting together and at least all looking sweet with half smiles on their faces…

Instead we got something like this, with lots of screaming, crying, and whining.

PhotoShoot
Raechelle is obviously NOT in the picture at all. Oh well.  I don’t even want to go into how terrible (while super nice but just… terrible) the photographer was! She was in over her head (the only one working – ZOMG!)

So we continued on our way.  We went to play instead. CharCharTunnel

Possibly the cutest photo of Charlotte I have taken!!

G and the Girls

What can I say? He’s a ladies man…

The day ended with Krysta texting me that Charlotte had a double ear infection and Raechelle with a prescription for an inhaler for asthma.  G was also blowing snot bubbles all day, I’m starting to feel a little sick!

I have to show off this Flip video though.  G has this ‘goat’ laugh, I don’t know how to explain it.  He does short versions of it in this video, it is SO funny.  Many times he will do longer ones just randomly and I really wanted to catch it.  And yes, it seems like I’m ignoring my older child but she was sitting right next to me and I really wasn’t! Maybe just for a minute to try and get the laugh on video. 🙂

Well, that first picture def sums up the day. Photo chick had no idea what she was doing. We’ll do a re-do at the park (sans “professional” photographers)when the rain goes away. Mabye we can bribe them with cookies…

Wow, he does sound like a goat. Hilarious. We tried a photo session many years ago with a group of six cousins under the age of six. It was like herding cats. We went to a studio and the poor photographer probably need a strong drink by the time we left. It’s hard with little ones.

kim/hormone-colored days’s last blog post..Marketing mavens miss the point
