Crazy Playdate Today

by Kristi on January 15, 2009 · 1 comment

Brayden B came over along with Raechelle & CharChar to play in our house.  Everyone had a great time with all the toys played with, no tears, and lots of fun! Here is 30 seconds of craziness in the ball pit.

Susan Elizabeth Phillips is one of my favorite authors. Her books reside in my ‘special’ bookcase, the one up in our room with pretty glass windows which hubby has stolen (STOLEN) a full shelf of to use for his own books. You would think he lives here too, or something.  Some day soon, I want […]

Over a year ago I remember reading on Scoble’s blog about Mint.com winning the TechCrunch 40 and I visited the site a few weeks later and then didn’t come back.  It sounded pretty awesome though. A few months later, Angie told me about this fabulous service that she adores and thought I should try.  So […]

Griff is Officially Moving

by Kristi on January 14, 2009 · 1 comment

I would title this ‘Griff is Officially Crawling’ but what he is doing, I really wouldn’t call a crawl. It’s more of a scoot.  Or creep. Or dragging his booty around with one leg hanging behind him. It’s interesting what he does but he does it. And pretty well.  He’s getting better everyday.  He can […]

Kathryn Caskie is a USA Today bestselling author with her past trilogy series of the Royle Sisters. The series was written very well and Kathryn is on my list of ‘buys’ when she comes out with a new novel.  That, plus the fact she writes with Avon Books (my favorite publishing company), and I usually […]

Starring the Marvin Twins

by Kristi on January 9, 2009 · 2 comments

Hmm, embedding the video doesn’t work. Here it is on YouTube instead. 🙂 I was playing with my Flip video 🙂  No editing, I just uploaded them but they are a cute watch. Raechelle is HILARIOUS just sitting on top of the car garage and CharChar and G are just wandering around as well.

Raechelle the Monkey

by Kristi on January 9, 2009

Krysta and I keep exchanging toys back and forth to keep our children entertained.  I brought over the Little People garage that has been sitting in Sam’s closet for the past six months. I guess Raechelle thought it was for her to climb on.  She was pretty proud of herself. She posed and everything! We […]

Doctor Appointment

by Kristi on January 7, 2009

“What are we doing today, Momma?” “We are going to the mall.” “What are we doing after that?” … (This is sooo common every day. This conversation can go on and on and on and on…) “Then, I’m going to the Doctors while you and G stay with Grandma Nana.” “Oh. You are going to […]

Multiple Kids, Multiple….

by Kristi on January 6, 2009 · 6 comments

I was just reading Tiffani’s blog post on figuring out if it is harder going from 1 to 2 kids, or going from 2 to 3 kids.  Since she is 30 weeks preggo with her third child, I wish her all the luck in the world. 🙂 hahaha Also, since I only (only?) have two […]

Redesigned Diaper Champ Stinks

by Kristi on January 5, 2009 · 1 comment

I have a lot of friends who have become pregnant over the years and since I have a lot of opinions to give (…hahaha) you usually see me recommending the Baby Trend Diaper Champ to people. The thing is, we purchased the Diaper Champ in 2005. We actually purchased two. We have one in our […]

My favorite genre of romance is historical novels which is why Philippa Gregory is a perfect author for me. Her novels are beautiful works of of fiction but with most of the historical facts correct.  Some things she will change to suit the fictional side of things and she will tell you in her author […]

Effect of the CPSIA

by Kristi on January 4, 2009 · 1 comment

I keep reading more and more about the new CPSIA (Consumer Products Safety Improvement Act) Law going into effect on February 10, 2009 and I feel so bad for all the people who currently make a living off of making or selling children’s clothes and toys. I was reading about it on BabyCheapskate this morning. […]

Just the Sexiest Man Alive is a must read.  This is a go down to Borders (or buy from Amazon with Next Day Shipping, or even just run to my house and grab from my bookshelf…) and read it as soon as you get your hands on it! I was laughing throughout this whole book. […]
