Dancing Queen

Griff LOVES to dance. Whenever there is music on you can see him grooving where ever he is. It’s so cute! Sam never really danced when she was a baby but anytime there is music on, we are giving him cat calls and encouraging him! LOL

Sam is sick right now so we were watching Madagascar at night and the “We like to move it, move it” song is a HUGE favorite now.  We are singing it all day long, LOL.  Anytime we do, Sam starts dancing and G looks at her and starts moving too!

Here is G dancing to one of Sam’s old birthday cards that she loves to open and close. It’s the Cinderella song, Bippity Boppity Boo. After a few times of Sam doing it, I noticed that G would be dancing along so I had to record it!

Kristi – Thank you for that comment at BabyCenter. I try hard to be self-validating, but sometimes it feels good. I sometimes think “I’m done” writing at BC. Why should I stick it all out there for the world to comment on? And yet, if one person maybe learns from my mistakes – perhaps me only – than I feel like I’m not just writing for nothing. I think, also, I have this really high expectation of life. Like we’re all going to give each other the benefit of the doubt. And then some people are just so rude. And me included, I suppose, hence the parking story. But honestly, while I might bend the rules sometimes, I would NEVER yell at another mom like that. I have run into so much of that in L.A. – and many times? Yes, it’s me. I didn’t clean my son’s mouth enough in a play area or change a diaper quick enough. I notice, too, that when I’m very nicely dressed and my make up is on, people give me a lot more slack. And that honestly sucks. Because what if you’re on food stamps or just having a bad day with the kids or hubby or you’re a single mom? Do they not deserve your kindness and grace? Aaack. It’s the one area I’m super sensitive on. Maybe I need counseling for some deep seated childhood trangressions! LOL.

Anyway, thanks for letting me vent. Your children are, as always, magnificent.

My kids used to dance to that Disney song. Is it from the Disney hits CD? Thanks for posting, it brought back some memories.
